Artist Statement:
I am passionate about artist books. Along with creating artist books I make handmade paper and am studying printmaking and letterpress. Artist books are the perfect medium to combine these artistic techniques to tell a story. my multidisciplinary approach to artist bookmaking takes into consideration the binding of the book as well as design of the cover and pages. The process of telling a personal story though design of the pages including fine art printing and text is exciting to me. Each book I make is one of a kind and exists as a 3-d art form. The increasing popularity of Artist books is where history m eets avant-garde and I am excited to be a part of this!
